Under the new Australian Standard (AS 4084 2012), it is mandatory for all business to have their racking inspected at least once every 12 months.
The damaged rack is tagged according to the level of damage, a written report issued, followed by a quotation to carry out any rectification.
There is a charge for this service, depending on the size of the clients premises and normally a contract is entered into so the inspections are scheduled according to the customers requirements.
